1960s Postcard -- Chollima Statue Pyongyang

Found postcard purchased in a DPRK book store between 2012 and 2015. Depicting the Chollima Statue and Moranbong in post-Korean War reconstruction era Pyongyang. Also features the Moranbong Fun Fair site and the Pyongyang TV Tower in the background. Note that the Arch of Triumph is absent. These sites were frequented by Western tourists in the 2000s and 2010s. Frequent visitors to this site may remark upon the new regrowth of the parks greenery following reconstruction after the Korean War, in striking contrast with the lush greenery which surrounds the area today.
